About John



John (aka Johnny) Linnehan is the 3rd generation of the Linnehan family to be involved in various businesses ventures. He has been involved with real estate of all types. In addition, he has owned and operated retail businesses in several different industries. He is most recognized for his contributions within the automobile industry. John has owned up to 4 car dealerships at one time with 10 different franchises and over 200 employees. His primary responsibilities as COO was being the lead visionary team builder. He was the driving force behind Credit Now! Auto Company, the largest volume used car dealership in Maine for over a decade, and Atlantic Acceptance Corporation, the largest volume privately owned used car finance company in Maine. John also founded USA Computer Systems, a Microsoft solutions developer of software, specializing in Dealer Management Systems (DMS) for used car dealers.

John was recently recognized nationally as a business "mover and shaker" in his industry. He is a featured speaker at conventions and both he and his businesses have been written about in many national publications.

Most important to him, Johnny is a dedicated, committed, Bible believing Christian. He has spoken, preached, lectured, and taught about the importance of each person developing his or her own personal relationship with God through a personal relationship with God’s only Son, Jesus Christ. John has spoken in the United States, as well as internationally, traveling as far as India and South America. He is active both in his local church and multiple other evangelistic ministries that have global outreaches.

In mid 2008 John started a non-profit 501C3 ministry called The Gospel. The Gospel’s ONLY goal was to fulfill the Great Commission of Matthew 28:18-20 by making disciples of Jesus, baptizing those disciples and teaching those disciples to make more disciples. As in Matthew 9:9-13, John takes the Good News about Jesus out of the church and into our communities where the unsaved people are. Last year there were over 1000 first time decisions for Jesus Christ just in Maine! After a 40 year business career, John is just now, in March 2010, completing the sales of ALL his businesses. He is going "full time" DAILY following his Savior Jesus. John's personal goal and prayer this year is for God to have 1000 souls accept Jesus Christ as Savior in just his home county of Hancock County alone where he lives.

Later on, in Mid 2010, Johnny will be officially launching a church in Trenton, Maine, simply called "The Church". John's vision for "The Church" is to draw un-churched, unsaved people to a dynamic, alive, "out of the box" experience that will introduce them to Jesus, keep them coming back for more and encourage them to keep bringing their friends, relatives, associates and neighbors along with them.

John "married up" to Heather, his high school sweetheart and she is still his best friend. Seriously, he really did! They celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on August 16, 2009. Heather said, "Those 40 years have been 5 of the best years of my life." They have sons, Ryan and Chadd, 2 Daughters-in-love, Stephanie and Jennifer and 7 PERFECT grandchildren.
